The VSM1 is a highly flexible IEEE P1386 PMC module carrier for PCI add-in (PC based) and standalone applications. The VSM1 has a site for a single PMC module and special support for Processor PMC applications. The VSM1 includes an integrated low profile fan for improved cooling performance of the PMC when fitted. External (PMC bezel) I/O connections may be made through the PCI I/O bracket or in the retainer area. P14 user I/O signals for the PMC site may be accessed via a DIN41612 connector with a VITA standard (VME P2) pin out.
